The sky-bellied leaf eels were a type of eel living on the planet Siline. It was a long creature similar to a snake. The skin on the eel's upper side was red while on it's underside it was a darker color that was almost royal purple. The sky-bellied leaf eel lived in trees and was highly poisonous, but when it's poison sac in it's tail was removed, it's flesh could be eaten. The poison sac of a sky-bellied leaf eel was a dark colored organ covered with yellow veins and one of the compounds could be extracted to make a crystal dye that was considered pretty and could be worth as much as a speeder when sold in Liicate City. During the survival portion of their Crowning Convocation, Lio Graf was almost attacked by a sky-bellied leaf eel while sitting in a tree, but manged to kill it first. Graf and their friend Rhos Arthyst then removed the eel's poison sac and afterwards they kept it's poison sac and ate it's flesh together with Jecki Lon.[1]
