The skirmish in the Recluse's Nebula, also referred to as the Recluse engagement, was an engagement in which the naval forces of the Alliance to Restore the Republic took part of. The battle resulted in a net loss to Alliance Fleet assets, and in a report by General Baccam Grafis of Ordnance and Supply to Commander-in-Chief Mon Mothma, accounted for the losses. Such losses included one BTL Y-wing starfighter valued at 130,000 credits, one used Lambda-class T-4a shuttle valued at 180,000 credits, one Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wing valued at 125,000 credits, three empty cargo containers valued at 90,000 credits, and one full cargo container filled with grain valued at 75,000 credits.[1]

The report by Grafis to Mothma would be included in The Rebel Files, a central data repository that contained hard copies of sensitive information which were eventually uncovered[1] in 34 ABY[3] in the ruins of the Alliance Tak-Beam complex on the Mid Rim planet Durkteel, and eventually found its way to General Leia Organa of the Resistance.[1]
