The Sith Emperor's chambers were first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Coruscant," an issue of Star Wars Encyclopedia line of reference magazines, published by De Agostini[2] on February 9, 2021.[3]

In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Sith Emperor's chambers, albeit unidentified, first appeared in The Old Republic, Blood of the Empire Act 1: Shades of the Sith, an issue in the 2010 Star Wars: The Old Republic series of comics that served as backstory for the 2011 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[4]
