The Simoom system was a star system located in the Senex-Juvex's Senex sector of the galaxy's Mid Rim[3] and Western Reaches[2] regions. It was connected to the Hestria system by a hyperlane and contained the planet Simoom. The latter was the homeworld of the creatures known as Simoomian sensory hounds, which were exported by many noble estates of the Senex and Juvex sectors.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Simoom system was established in The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace and released in 2009, which placed the system in grid square L-18.[3]
