"I didn't realize they had names. What do they think about? They don't know what life is really like, and all they know is war, so they're probably perfectly happy. I'm glad they don't suffer."
―Simi Noor, on clone troopers[1]

Simi Noor was a Force-sensitive individual who was a Padawan in the Jedi Order who lived during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Noor, lacking experience with the Grand Army of the Republic's clone troopers, did not know that the clones possessed informal names in addition to their assigned numerical designations and was surprised to learn the truth. Though Noor questioned what sorts of things the Republic's clone soldiers thought about, the Padawan incorrectly believed that the clones did not suffer and were perfectly happy, as they had been created for war and knew no other life.[1]

Behind the scenes

Simi Noor was mentioned in Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel, a 2008 novel written by Karen Traviss.[1]
