"And we are all aware that Onaconda was a flawed man. He knew better than anyone of his own mistakes, but he never compromised his principles, and what he did, he did for his people. Their needs always came first."
―Silood leads Onaconda Farr's funeral[4]

Silood was a male Rodian aide and a confidant to Republic Senator Onaconda Farr during the Clone Wars.

Biography

Silood was a longtime aide to Senator Onaconda Farr, taking care of his schedule and offering advice when Farr wanted a word with his old friend.[2] In 22 BBY,[5] he was present on Rodia during Farr's dealings with Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[1] When Farr was poisoned and killed, Silood delivered the eulogy at Farr's funeral on Coruscant and accompanied the body back to Rodia.[4]

Silood was portrayed in The Clone Wars television series by Tom Kenny,[1] who also voiced Nute Gunray and police inspector Tan Divo in the show.

Silood, or at least his character model, was first seen in Ziro's Palace in the feature film that debuted the series on August 15, 2008. He was sitting next to the character model used for Pune Zignat. It would not be impossible for Silood to be present at this Coruscant establishment at the time, as Onaconda Farr was also in the area. He appears in another scene set in Palpatine's office.[6] His character model was also used for Taquito in "Mystery of a Thousand Moons".[7]
