Signal eradicator[1] was a type of communications scrambler. They were installed in the High Council Tower of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, with the central topmast incorporating multi-frequency eradicator/scrambler. They scrambled attempts to pinpoint location of Jedi in the field by locking on to their communications with the Temple.[2] During the Battle of Murkhana, the Galactic Republic forces were equipped with S-thread jammers, signal eradicators, and HoloNet chafing devices.[1]
