Shurg was a Gamorrean male warlord. His clan had taken over an abandoned Czerka Corporation facility on Tatooine.[2] In 3643 BBY,[1] he made a deal with Czerka official Gayem Leksende; he would let Czerka personnel retrieve data they needed from the facility, while his clan would receive weapons and speeders. However, a Galactic Republic citizen, sent by Republic Strategic Information Service operative Fauler to retrieve the data, attacked the abandoned facility. and Shurg was killed in the confrontation.[2]

The Old Republic — The Lost Suns 2 takes place ten years after the treaty, one week after the mission to Nar Shaddaa, and around the time of the SpecForce Incident. Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of the Prologue and Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY. Shurg's death occurs during the Republic World Arc on Tatooine, which is first accessible to the three aforementioned classes when they first visit Tatooine during Act I. Therfore, it can be inferred Shurg dies around that year.
