Shimiese was the native language of the Pacithhip species from Shimia. Shimiese was a language of snorts, trumpets and intricate vocalizations, adequate to a Pacithhip's vocal structure. Written Shimiese was pictographic. Most Pacithhips were fluent in both Shimiese and Basic, although they were only literate in their own language.[1]
