Shey Tapani University was a university located in the galaxy that Sharlu Greslin was to study at, but was unable to afford the tuition fees. Instead, Greslin went to serve on Mimban in return for a one year military scholarship.[1]

Shey Tapani University was first mentioned in Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, a reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo and released in 2018.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Shey Tapani University was first mentioned in Lords of the Expanse, a supplement written by Paul Sudlow and Chris Doyle and released by West End Games in 1997 for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2]
