A male individual was the father of Rebel pilot Shara Bey. During the Galactic Civil War, Bey had her father raise her son, Poe Dameron, on a planet while she and her husband, Kes Dameron, fought in the war against the Galactic Empire.^[2] Shortly after the Battle of Endor, Bey spoke to her father though she was unable to see him due to continued operations against the Imperials.^[1]
