Shan'ri Toulin was a female Bothan who lived on Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Shan'ri lived in Mos Eisley where she died after getting hooked on death sticks. Her father Begol later asked a spacer to enact revenge against a number of spice dealers.^[2]

Behind the scenes

Dialogue pertaining to Shan'ri Toulin appeared in the directory tree files for the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,^[2] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.^[3] According to these files, introduced with the 2005 "New Game Enhancements," Shan'ri would have been mentioned in the quest "Destroy the Spice," a quest given by Begol Toulin during the Mos Eisley part of the "Legacy Quest." However, Begol Toulin is not known to have appeared on the game's live servers as a proper non-player character.^[2]
