Severn was a human female member of the Path of the Open Hand cult.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] she worked with fellow Path members Fel Ix and Chal to hijack communications buoys for the Path at the direction of the Path's leader, the Mother, and using the shuttle the Way of Clarity. Severn stayed at the cockpit while Fel Ix and Chal worked on the buoy, so she alerted the others via comm when they noticed a Galactic Republic ship come into their range and hail them. After the ship decided that there was nothing wrong with the buoy after testing it, the ship left and the three received a message from the mother, Severn responding with their code to hear it. The Mother told Fel Ix to continue the mission but beware of Jedi, and Severn responded with one of the Path's mottos "The Force will be free" at Fel Ix's request.[1]
