Security sweepers were a type of security countermeasure optimized to detect specialized electronic components, ignoring mundane devices such as holocams and datapads. The sweepers could precisely located recorders and listening devices, but they typically cannot identify the exact nature of such devices. The cost a security sweeper was 400 credits.[1]
