Seared Kashyyyk Whitefish was a seafood dish that was served during the entrées course of the Taste Around the Galaxy dinner in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room on the MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser Halcyon[1] in 34 ABY.[2] The dish, which shared its name with the Wookiee homeworld Kashyyyk, was safe for humans to consume.[1]
Behind the scenes
Seared Kashyyyk Whitefish was available in the real world at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida,[1] which opened to the public on March 1, 2022.[3] It was last served at the hotel during the September 28–30 voyage of 2023, the final voyage before the closure of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.[4] The dish was served during dinner on the second night of the voyage. The menu described it as being served "with Greenpod Purée, Jekka Seed, Cornseed Relish, Yellowfruit Buttercream."[5] This dish introduced Jekka seeds into canon, which were first introduced in the 2008 Legends novel Coruscant Nights I: Jedi Twilight.
