Searcher 2050 exploration droid

Characteristics

A small spherical droid similar to a remote or seeker, the Searcher 2050 was advanced enough to have a personality and degree of thought. Commonly used for scouting (like many Arakyd Industries probe droids), the Searcher 2050 was also a capable pilot, and was programmed to operate a wide range of ground and atmospheric vehicles, as well as their weapon systems, through an integrated Scomp link.

History

The Oridium miners of Gavos used Searcher 2050s for scouting mines and piloting shuttles. One such unit was Lookout, who, though part of the New Droids' Rights Movement, was nonetheless unconvinced for the need of a Droid rebellion.
