A Scout IV was a game piece used in the Canto Pass game that resembled electrobinoculars. It was a boon piece that grants the player one point, as well as an extra point for each additional scout the player has.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] one such piece had been stashed in a container in an abandoned cantina next to Bosan Mound in Mirogana Valley on the Outer Rim moon Toshara.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] a thief named Kay Vess found the container and took the game piece.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Scout IV Canto Pass piece appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was one of several Canto Pass pieces that could be collected in the game and used as trinkets to customize the appearance of the player's S57 Cardinal speeder bike and the interior of the Trailblazer.[1]
