Scotia Belford-Tapalo was a humanoid female who served as Queen Consort of the planet Naboo as part of the Royal House of Naboo. By the Battle of Naboo[1] in 32 BBY,[2] a white statue of Belford-Tapalo that embodied Naboo's classical style stood atop the dome of the royal hangar in Theed, the capital city of the Naboo people.[1] The hangar's construction began during the reign of King Bon Tapalo.[3]
Behind the scenes
A statue of Scotia Belford-Tapalo first appeared in the 1999 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[4] The character was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, New Edition.[1] The new material in the book was written by Jason Fry and Emily Shkoukani.[5]
