The Scarlet Skulls were a crew formed during the Nihil pirates occupation of the Outer Rim planet Valo by the Jedi Ram Jomaram, Gavi, Kildo, Tep Tep, and the aspiring pirate Zyle Keem to fight back against the Nihil. It shared its name with a group of child assassins known as the Scarlet Skull Cult.^[1]

The Scarlet Skulls appeared in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase III.^[3]
