Saw Gerrera's camp,[3] also known as the Onderon insurgent camp, was a secret base of operations used by the Onderon rebels during the Clone Wars. It was located in Sector S-29 on the Inner Rim jungle planet Onderon. The camp lay amidst the jungle and was raised in the ruins of an ancient structure.[4]
After the end of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire, Saw Gerrera and the Partisans maintained the camp. Shortly after the Empire's rise, Clone Force 99 was sent to wipe out Gerrera's camp. However, due to Clone Sergeant Hunter's reluctance to fire upon the unarmed civilians within the Partisans, the clone commando squad failed their mission.[2] Later, a newly founded Elite Squad led by former Clone Force 99 member Clone Commander Crosshair, was dispatched to once again attempt to eliminate the camp. By this time, Partisan leader Saw Gerrera had already left the camp, leaving only a few of his soldiers and civilians behind.[3]
