Satellite Nine was a satellite in the galaxy. An individual who at one point inhabited the location Rimbaux Four, recalled how they were, according to themself, "the most handsome, admired" Ithorian[1]—a species of tall humanoids who originated from the Mid Rim planet Ithor[2]—in the orbit of Satellite Nine.[1]

Behind the scenes

Satellite Nine was mentioned in a segment named "Musings of an Ithorian," written by Bob Carrau for the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a publication that combines creature designs and photographs from various projects of George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars franchise, with original text by Carrau.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical within the Star Wars Legends continuity.[3]
