Sardoran,[4] at one point known as Ord Sardoran,[3] was a world[5] located in the Sardoran system,[1] a part of the Arrowhead, or the Slice portion of[2] the Core Worlds.[1] It served as an Ordnance/Regional Depot outpost for the Galactic Republic during the Pius Dea Era, a period of time that lasted between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY.[3] The Human Casti Tholon, who was active[4] by 2 ABY,[6] was native to Sardoran, although she grew up in[4] the Core Worlds'[3] Duro system.[4]
Behind the scenes
Sardoran was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas subsequently placed the Sardoran system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square M-11,[1] while the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart introduced its earlier name "Ord Sardoran."[3]
