Sapwater was a slightly sweet drink that Wookiees preferred to rainwater because the sapwater was slightly sweeter. Sapwater was produced in a distillery in Tree Vikkilynn, one of the wroshyr trees around which the city of Kachirho was built.[1]
Behind the scenes
Sapwater was first mentioned in the Star Wars canon in the 2016 Dorling Kindersley reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, sapwater was mentioned in the 2005 edition of the same book, though it was spelled "sap-water."[2]
