Sap gloves were a type of melee weapon that amplified their user's punches. They resembled a pair of gloves with heavy, dense materials sewn into the fingers and dorsal side. They were typically made using sand, alloy pellets, or heavy plates. Sap gloves were relatively innocuous and were popular among law enforcement agencies, intelligence services, and the criminal underground. They typically cost 50 credits on the market.[1]
Behind the scenes
Sap gloves were first mentioned in Cyphers and Masks,[1] a 2018 sourcebook for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2]
