Sanl'jek were a species of small quadrupeds that were native to the world of Dancreti. The species was named after zoologist who discovered them.
Biology and appearance
The creatures had auditory sensors on their upper jaw and had extraordinary hearing that could detect a heartbeat over dozens of kilometers away. Female members of the species carried their young in birth pouches for a standard year, after which they would be released.[1]
Behavior
Sanl'jek lived in large communities of 50 to 100 individuals. Normally docile, a community of sanl'jek would go into a frenzy if one was attacked.[1]
