Sakins was the Presider of Vannix until the Yuuzhan Vong War. When word reached Vannix that the Yuuzhan Vong had conquered Coruscant, Sakins decided to flee the planet with his family and mistresses, but not without looting the planetary treasury, leaving Vannix essentially bankrupt.
