Sakiduba was a planet[2] located in the Sakiduba system, a part of the Bootana Hutta area in the Hutt Space portion of the Slice.[1] It was connected by a secret hyperlane to the Saki system.[2]
Sakiduba was settled by the Sakiyans of the planet Sakiya—also known as Saki—with its name, which meant "Third Saki,"[2] being shared with "duba," the Huttese word for "three."[3] Considered a part of the group known as the Sakiyan Collective, Sakiduba was established as a mining colony to support Sakiya's growing industry of repulsorlift technology manufacture, and it produced the majority of raw materials used in the production of repulsorlift drives. At the foundries of Sakiduba, components were constructed that were then shipped off for assembly in Sakiya's capital city, Kæhaxa.[2] The fate of the Sakiyan colony worlds, including Sakiduba, in the wake of the invasion of Hutt Space by the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong species[1] in 26 ABY[4] was not well-known.[1]

Sakiduba was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book co-authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square S-11.[1]
