Sahen Idane was a human who served as a senator in the Galactic Senate of the Galactic Republic during the High Republic Era, representing[1] the Mid Rim[2] Chommell sector. As spokesperson for this area of space, Sahen Idane was a close associate of the elected monarchs that ruled the planet Naboo — which fell within Chommell sector — and the senator wore fineries from the capital city of Theed and a belt sash that had been given to them as a gift from Queen Yovité.[1] In 132 BBY,[3] Idane was also considered a long-time affiliate of the Jedi, a nontheistic order that worked alongside the Republic to defend the galaxy.[1]
