Safe House One was a cave used as a safe house by the Scarabi mercenary group.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] the Alliance to Restore the Republic investigated the safe house, trying to locate rebel leader Mon Mothma, who had been kidnapped and held for ransom by the Scarabi. Lando Calrissian, who had spent a few wild nights in the cave several years back, led the rebel pathfinders through the safe house. But the cave was discovered to be booby trapped, when Calrissian took a wrong step that triggered a droideka to appear and attack the rebels. Under heavy fire, Calrissian distracted the droideka, while another pathfinder destroyed it with a grenade. There was no sign of Mothma in the cave, forcing the rebels to move to the next safe house.[1]

Safe House One appeared in the fourty-sixth issue of the 2020 Star Wars comic series. The issue was written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Madibek Musabekov,[1] and published by Marvel Comics on May 22, 2024.[3]
