The sacred tree forest was a forest visited by the Jedi Padawan Nakime, who underwent a series of spiritual trials to overcome temptation to the dark side of the Force after being blinded in battle.[1]
Behind the scenes
The forest appeared in "The Bird of Paradise," a non-canon short film directed by Tadahiro Yoshihira released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by Polygon Pictures, released on Disney+ on October 29, 2025. At the Star Wars: Visions panel at Celebration Japan on April 19, 2025, concept art of the forest was labeled 神木の森 ("sacred tree forest," in English).[2]
