The SDS 8/5 dual laser cannon was a model of laser cannon manufactured by Taim & Bak. They were utilized on Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptors.[1]
Behind the scenes
The SDS 8/5 dual laser cannon was created for and first appeared in the Canon continuity the 2002 prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[2] It was first identified in Starship Fact File: Delta-7 Aethersprite Starfighter, an article in the twenty-fifth issue of Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon, released on June 24, 2015.[3]
The Sds 8/5 dual laser cannon had previously first appeared in the Legends continuity in the 2002 video game Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter.[4]
