SD-48 survival backpack

The SD-48 survival backpack was used by desert stormtroopers of the Stormtrooper Corps, allowing them to complete extended missions within the unrelenting heat of the hot, dry worlds they were deployed to.^[1] The backpack was Imperial standard-issue carrying full survival and encampment equipment.^[2] Each SD-48 held several liters of purified water, along with a miniaturized moisture vaparator. Other equipment included a long-range comlink, collapsible reflective shelter,^[1] food, and ammunition.^[2]
