The SA-45 Technician Droid was a model of bipedal maintenance droid used by the the Shroud, a freelance spy active during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstitued Sith Empire. SA-45 Technician Droids supported the battle droid forces that defended the Shroud's factory on the moon Nar Shaddaa.[1]

SA-45 Technician Droids appear as enemies in the final macrobinoculars mission—"The Shroud Revealed" for Republic players and "All the Pieces" for Imperials—in Rise of the Hutt Cartel, the first Digital Expansion for the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[1]
