The father of Rush Clovis served as the personal attaché of one of the head Muun families in the InterGalactic Banking Clan. When his son was twelve, he,[3] Clovis's other parent,[2] and the wife of the head Muun died in a shuttle accident, leaving a young Clovis to be adopted by the Muun family.[3]
