Rush Clovis's father served as the personal attache of one of the head Muun families in the InterGalactic Banking Clan. When his son, Rush Clovis, was twelve, he, his wife, and the wife of the head Muun died in a shuttle accident, leaving a young Clovis to be adopted by the Muun family.[2]
