Ruby Bliel was a red colored mixed beverage that was popular among pirates. Many varieties of the drink were served in bars at pirate planetary bases.[2] In 22 BBY,[3] Ruby Bliel was served at the bar in the Outlander Club on the planet Coruscant.[1]

Behind the scenes

Ruby Bliel first appeared in Star Wars canon in the 2002 movie Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[1] It was first identified in the new in the 2019 reference book Star Wars: How Not to Get Eaten by Ewoks and Other Galactic Survival Skills by Christian Blauvelt.[2] The drink was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1999 novelization of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[4]
