The Rubogea system was a part of the Core Worlds.[1] It was the origin point of the diplomatic tactic known as the Rubogean Gambit.[2][3]
Behind the scenes
The Rubogea system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square L-9.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Rubogean Gambit in relation to the Rubogea system.
