Roy Dotrice (May 26, 1923 Guernsey — October 16, 2017) was a British actor and audiobook narrator.[1] Dotrice voiced Obi-Wan Kenobi in the 1997 legends read-along storybooks of the Original trilogy. The same audio was later used in the 2015 canon read-along storybooks of the Original trilogy. [2]
Dotrice was a versatile actor whose body of work spans over a hundred productions dating back to the late 1950s and included both film and theater performances. Dotrice was also known for his role audiobook narration including the audiobook adaptations of A Song of Ice and Fire.[1]
