Rotkar was a doctor who lived sometime around the Third Galactic War. Rotkar was the creator of the Jannimak research vessel before it crashed on the planet Dantooine[1] around 3622 BBY.[2]

Rotkar was first mentioned in the codex entry "The Jannimak"[1] in Game Update 7.8: Pursuit of Ruin, released on December 9, 2025, as part of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith,[3] the eighth digital expansion to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[4]
