Rollweed was a type of weed that could be found in the habitable band of the cold and lifeless[1] Outer Rim[2] planet Rystan. When Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro visited Rystan with the Talortai Nihil Udi Dis[1] in 231 BBY,[3] Ro directed Dis to a patch of barren ground where the Talortai noticed clumps of rollweed tumbling across the wasteland.[1]

Rollweed appeared in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4]
