The Ringo Vinda system was a star system located in the Eucer sector of the galaxy's Mid Rim[1] that contained the planet Ringo Vinda, which was orbited by a space station. During the Clone Wars,[2] the Battle of Ringo Vinda[3] was fought in the system between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems[2] in the year 20 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Ringo Vinda system first appeared in "The Unknown,"[2] the first episode of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' sixth season,[4] which originally aired in Germany on February 15, 2014.[5] It was first identified in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed the system in grid square R-7.[1]
