Rice was a clone trooper who served during the Clone Wars as part of a four-person team that included Cole, Hank, and Charger. Rice wore customized phase I clone trooper armor with teal markings.[3]

Cole was revealed by Dark Horse Comics on Twitter[4] and Bluesky on November 17, 2025, in which it announced that they would appear in the comic Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch—Rogue Agents 1. Rice and the other clone troopers had character sketches done by the series artist, Reese Hannigan, dated to sometime in 2025.[3]
