Resistor hubs were a type of power distribution technology. Shortly after the completion of the space station Starlight Beacon, it nearly suffered a massive power outage due to a poorly-wired resistor hub, but the problem was fixed in the nick of time by technicians Joss and Pikka Adren.[1]
