During the High Republic Era, Jedi Padawan Reath Silas embarked on a rescue mission to the Brield system and successfully saved passengers from a severely malfunctioning transport.[1] In 232 BBY,[2] Silas was stranded on the ancient Amaxine Space Station during the Great Hyperspace Disaster, which prevented hyperspace travel for a time. While thinking of his past field experience, he thought about his time on the Brield system mission, considering the endeavor quite different from his usual training within the Jedi Temple's Jedi Archives on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant.[1]
Behind the scenes
The rescue mission to the Brield system was mentioned in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Into the Dark, written by Claudia Gray as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
