A repulsion blast coil was a type of speeder part that allowed speeder bikes to launch itself into the air.[1]

During 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess installed a blast coil into her S57 Cardinal speeder bike sometime after Selo Rovak installed an atmospheric accelerator into it.[1]

Behind the scenes

The repulsion blast coil appeared as a speeder upgrade in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The player unlocks the blast coil after making a speeder jump of over sixty meters as part of the "Mechanic" expert upgrade tree.[1]
