The Republic Navy War College,[3] or Anaxes War College, was a university on the planet Anaxes. Commissioned just months after the Clone Wars in the newly established Imperial Navy, Kassius Konstantine was a student of the Anaxes War College, and was one of the first in the new generation of officers of the Galactic Empire.[2] The military field manuals used by the Empire were written by Anaxes War College instructors, along with other important military thinkers.[4] The college was also responsible for the creation of the Anaxes War College System, which served to classify various capital ships depending on their size, role, and firepower.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Anaxes War College was first mentioned in the Star Wars canon in Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 35,[3] a De Agostini magazine> released around September 2, 2015.[6]

Notes and references
- ↑ Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition establishes that the destruction of Anaxes occurred after the Battle of Anaxes but before the end of the Clone Wars which Star Wars: Timelines both dates to 19 BBY. Star Wars Helmet Collection 2 places the destruction after the end of the Clone Wars. So it can be assumed the event occurred in 19 BBY around the end of the war.
