The Republic Central Medcenter was a medcenter located on the planet Coruscant. It was the size of a small city with its own traffic system. It had a dedicated turbolift connecting it with the Jedi Temple's infirmary, used by the most desperate of patients. It had a chief executive in charge of its operations.[1]
While he was in a coma, Omega Squad commando Fi Skirata was treated in its neurology unit for a short while. When he was scheduled to be euthanized, Republic Treasury agent Besany Wennen started an armed siege in order to protect him. The situation was defused when captain Jaller Obrim arrived with Coruscant Security Force personnel and took Fi safely to his home for continued treatment.[1]
