In 382 BBY,[1] a conflict occurred between the Galactic Republic and the Togruta government.[2] Jedi Knight Vildar Mac was supposed to go to the Togruta front line, but instead turned it down to and took Convocation duty on Jedha.[3]

As a result of this conflict, tensions between the two groups would last for almost two centuries.[2]
