- "The action today is sponsored by the new docuseries, Remembering Alderaan. Take note, stand-up comics. It will always be too soon."
- ―L-X1 presenting arena sponsors
Remembering Alderaan was a docuseries about Alderaan,[2] a planet that was destroyed by the Galactic Empire's Death Star space station in 0 BBY.[3] The docuseries was released around 9 ABY[1] and was a sponsor of the Hunters of the Outer Rim tournament on[2] the planet[4] Vespaara.[2] That year,[1] during a broadcast of the tournament on the Outer Rim Sports Network, the announcer droid L-X1 read an advertisement for Remembering Alderaan, which included a reminder to stand-up comics that it would "always be too soon."[2]
Behind the scenes
Remembering Alderaan was mentioned in the video game Star Wars: Hunters, produced by Lucasfilm Games and Zynga.[2] The game soft launched in 2021[5] and was fully released in 2024.[2] The game closed on October 1, 2025.[6]

Hunters Goes Galactic! on Arena News (original site is defunct) establishes that Star Wars: Hunters begins when the Grand Arena partnered with the Outer Rim Sports Network, dated to 9 ABY in Star Wars: Timelines. The game also establishes that Remembering Alderaan was new, therefore meaning it must have also released around that year.
