Relnex was a male Human Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the Cold War with the resurgent Sith Empire.

A Force-sensitive Human, Relnex was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, eventually attaining the rank of Jedi Master. Following the Great Galactic War and the resurgence of the Sith Empire, Master Relnex returned to the ancestral Jedi homeworld Tython with the rest of the Order and helped rebuild during the Cold War.[1]
Stationed at the training ground in the Tythonian Gnarls, Master Relnex fought against the native Flesh Raiders as they made aggressive attacks on the Order's territories. He carried a scar across his left cheek, testament to his time in battle during the war.[1]

Relnex considered the Flesh Raiders savages, but sent the Padawan out on a rescue mission, not one of aggression. The Jedi Master had light skin, green eyes, and brown hair.[1]

Relnex wore brown and tan hooded Jedi robes including a brown belt, brown boots, and brown bracers. The Jedi had a signal beacon and used a single lightsaber with a gray hilt ending in a golden emitter and belt loop.[1]

Relnex appeared in the optional quest "Early Lessons" in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, released by BioWare in 2011. Only players of the Jedi Knight or Jedi Consular class may take the quest and Relnex has a unique line of acknowledging each class. Following Relnex's orders and sending the Padawans to safety is considered the Light Side option during the quest and this article therefore assumes it is the choice players made.[1]
There is also a Dark Side option in which the players agree to aid the Padawans in fighting the Flesh Raiders, killing ten of the natives and destroying three sets of their supplies. The player can then tell Relnex about the choice they made, and although it was not what the Jedi High Council wanted, the Jedi Master accepts it and hopes for the safety of the Padawans while they are still out in the Gnarls. The player then has the choice to tell Relnex that the trio will return angry, which the watchman promises to pass along to their masters.[1]
